Living Spaces

Living Spaces is a government grant scheme aimed at developing and improving open spaces in local communities. Grants are between £1000 and £100,000 and trained staff will help provide advice and support and links to other local organisations.

The grants are available to all neighbourhood groups in England for an outdoor space within 2 miles of a residential area. Examples of open spaces are

• play areas
• community gardens
• village greens
• ponds
• city farms
• courts and squares
